COMEX Orthotic insoles are divided in 3 main categories as follows: Everyday orthotics for extra comfort and precaution, Medical orthotics for lower extremities treatment and Advance orthotics for any type of sport.
COMEX creates custom-made foot orthotics from the digitized data translated through the solescan system, providing the appropriate orthotic treatment along with the diagnosis. Custom-made orthotics insoles offer pain relief from foot and leg pain, deriving from conditions like plantar aponeurosis, Achilles Tendonitis, fall of metatarsal heads, inflammations, plantar fasciitis, pes planus (splayfoot), metatarsus adductus (pidgeon-toe), ankle pain, etc.
Special, custom-made orthotic insoles are also ideal for shock absorption, rectification of gait misalignment, and treatment of sports injuries. They are also used for the prevention of ankle and lower foot conditions.
All COMEX orthopedic insoles are manufactured from thin, sturdy materials that fit in all types of shoes.
The insole material differs, according to the category they are fit for. All insoles are approved by the National Organization for Medicines, and bare the C.E. marking.
COMEX insoles and products were used during the 2004 Olympic Games, in the Olympic Village Medical Clinic by the Lower Extremity team, bringing full success in all the cases and to the full satisfaction of all volunteer Orthopaedists, physiatrists, rehabilitation physicians and Podiatrists that worked in the Clinic at the time.
